Madras High Court grants bail to DMK leader in CM abuse case: ‘Cops serve state, not party’
The case arose from a complaint based on the DMK councillor’s speech which had been circulating online. The court noted allegations that the police move swiftly when an accused belongs to the opposition, but not the other way around.
